Catherine Wallace DVM
Dr. Wallace is originally from Virginia. She achieved her master’s degree in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University and her veterinary degree from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Scotland. She has been with Lake Pointe Veterinary Hospital since 2021 and is interested in exotics and animal behavior. She can often be found playing Dungeons and Dragons or hiking with her two whippets when not at the hospital.
Heather Carlin DVM
Dr. Carlin graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Biology before moving to East Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. As a clinician, she currently sees dogs and cats and has special interest in internal medicine. Dr. Carlin has 1 boxer named Sadie, 2 cats (Bobby and Cedric) and 2 Arabian horses (Minuet and Cash), and several fish. Dr. Carlin stays busy with training and competing in endurance rides, hiking, and camping.
Kim Witalis DVM
Dr. Kim graduated from the Veterinary School of St. Kitts, and she loves returning to the Caribbean whenever she can. She enjoys working with all kinds of animals, and often has the most interesting stories of those experiences.
Jody Miller
Jody has been a registered technician for 26 years and with Lake Pointe for over 20 years. He finds any excuse to be outdoors and spends time drawing. He has16 dogs of his own and 10 chickens.
Tim Forbes
Tim is the head of maintenance at Lake Pointe but is more than willing to help in any department at any time. When not helping in the hospital, he is often found on his boat and playing with his three dogs.
Sandra Simpson
Sandra has been a registered technician for 10 years and with Lake Pointe for more than 2 years. Her passion is exotic animals, and she has been working with them for more than 20 years. Her pets include 2 cats, 1 crested gecko, 1 European Starling, 2 tarantulas, 1 snake, and a pug named Frank. She enjoys listening to music, drawing, hiking, and photography.
Jasmine Maloney
Jasmine is a veterinary assistant and is part of our social media team. She has been with Lake Pointe for 10 years. She is passionate about animal behavior and training. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, and hiking with her 3 dogs.
Haley Koger
Haley has been with Lake Point for 9 years. She started by volunteering for a year when she was 15 and has been here ever since. She has 2 dogs named Max and Erma. She works in the grooming department, as a CSR, and as a veterinary assistant.
Megan Warnimont
Megan is a veterinary assistant at Lake Pointe Veterinary Hospital and leads our social media team. She grew up in Felicity and now lives in Bethel. This area has been home to Megan her whole life! She shares her house with her husband, toddler son, and her 10 animals. They have 2 rescue dogs, 3 cats, 4 snakes, and a bearded dragon. Megan has a background in education, and she loves to use her skills in that area to help clients learn about their pets.
Crissi Rice
Crissi is a RVT and has been with Lake Pointe for 8 years. She has 1 dog and 5 cats. She loves to spend her time in her pool and with her granddaughter.
Lauren Hill
Lauren has been working at Lake Pointe as a veterinary assistant for over 5 years. She has 4 dogs and 9 cats. Lauren loves to play pranks on her co-workers and to make everyone laugh as she works on graduating as a registered veterinary technician.
Deana Byrd
Deana in a veterinary assistant and has been working in the vet field for over 20 years. Deana has an axolotl and loves plants.
Kira Grayson
Kira completed school at the University of Cincinnati and is a RVT here at Lake Pointe. She has 1 dog, 5 cats, a bearded dragon, and 7 chickens. There is not a single animal she does not enjoy working with.
Cassie Kovein
Cassie has worked at Lake Pointe since 2011. She is a RVT and is in charge of our hospital’s inventory. She has 3 boys at home followed by 3 dogs, 5 cats, 2 bunnies, 2 rats, and a snail named Earl. When not in the hospital, she can be found hiking, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Lauren Callahan
Lauren a National Certified Master Groomer with over 12 years of experience that she uses with many dogs here at Lake Pointe. She stays busy with her 3 dogs and 3 cats. On her days off, she frequently attends sporting dog events and works on canine training programs.
Tracy Koger
Tracy is the Practice Manager at Lake Pointe Veterinary Hospital. She has been with the clinic for 10 years. Tracy has a Yorkie named Max and a mixed breed dog named Erma. When she isn’t working and playing with her dogs, she enjoys traveling, camping, kayaking, and going to concerts.
